SPACE-GRADE HARDWARE
My work connects circuit design with the realities of building and testing hardware. My experience spans concept and architecture, detailed schematics, PCB layout, production support and prototype verification, with a particular focus on power electronics and precision measurement systems.
Experience with space-grade hardware has shaped how I approach a design: requirements need to be explicit, engineering decisions need a rationale, and the finished board needs to be checked against measurable criteria. I bring that discipline to VortaniX Technologies projects, whether the assignment is a single layout or a complete device development.
I work primarily on the hardware itself — selecting components, designing circuits, developing PCB layouts and resolving the details that affect operation in the real system. Bare-metal firmware complements this work for peripheral control, board bring-up and basic embedded functions.
With VortaniX Technologies, you work directly with the engineer responsible for the design. That makes it easier to discuss a technical trade-off, understand a finding or agree a change while the work is still in progress.
01
Power conversion and distribution, component stress, ripple and compensation — with attention to the layout, current paths and thermal behaviour that determine how a supply performs on the board.
02
Measurement circuits require care throughout the signal path. Noise, grounding, references, component selection and PCB implementation are considered together, with test conditions defined to make the results meaningful.
03
Experience across the development cycle of hardware for space applications, from concept to test. The emphasis is on traceable requirements, considered design decisions and disciplined verification.
A strong technical result starts with an honest scope. We define the services you need, the outputs you will receive and how each milestone will be reviewed. You see progress through tangible engineering deliverables, with partial payments linked to completed milestones. Technical questions stay close to the work, and changes are discussed before they become surprises.
Client designs and confidential project details are shared only with permission. If you would like to discuss relevant experience, we can focus on engineering challenges, methods and responsibilities without exposing another organisation’s work. An NDA is available at your discretion before confidential discussions.
